Two life-long friends lead a daring expedition deep in the Australian Outback, to find a legendary, multi-billion-dollar fortune in gold and solve a 100-year-old mystery. In 1897 gold prospector, Harrold Lasseter, staggered out of the desert claiming to have discovered a massive outcrop of gold. Decades later, he set out to rediscover his lost fortune, alone he perished in the desert, taking the location of his gold to the grave.

Six outback missions and 40 years later, Jeff and Brendan are more determined than ever to find Lasseter’s gold and prove that he was a telling the truth. Now with specialist help and cutting-edge technology, they plan to retrace Lasseter’s fateful 1930 expedition, scouring the Outback for clues that Lasseter left behind that will lead them to his fortune.
