On the edge of the Lake District, in Barrow-in-Furness, a family that has built a reputation for bringing classic cars back from the dead, is back!

At the heart of the business is Big Irv – master restorer, lifelong petrol head and head of a 30-strong team of mechanics, fabricators, panel beaters and painters. Alongside him are sons Aaron, Lee and Harvey, with youngest son Max now joining the family business and learning what it takes to become the next generation of Classic Car Kings.

This series, the family take on another extraordinary collection of motoring icons – from a beloved VW Beetle and legendary BMW M3, to a classic Porsche and an Escort crying out to be saved.

But these are no ordinary restorations. Every car arrives with its own history, hidden problems and seemingly impossible deadlines. Whether they’re rebuilding engines, fabricating panels from scratch or hunting down parts that haven’t been made for decades, Irv and his sons will do whatever it takes to return these machines to their former glory.

For this family, classic cars aren’t just a business. They live them, breathe them – and they’re on a mission to save the cars no one else can.
