Warner Bros Discovery (WBD), CBS Reality and Hearst Networks EMEA (formerly known as A+E Networks EMEA) have picked up LA-based Stampede’s Seized at Sea and Airport Security: USA to air in various European markets.

WBD will air the two shows on its streaming platforms and linear networks across Iberia, Italy, Poland, Turkey, the Benelux and the Nordic territories, while CBS Reality has the shows in the Middle East, Africa and Romania.

Hearst Networks EMEA, meanwhile, has acquired Seized at Sea (12×60′) and Airport Security: USA (12×60′) to air in the UK.

The latter series, which is due to be delivered in Q3 of 2024, has also been licensed by Welt for Germany and German-speaking Europe.

The deals were brokered by Tatiana Grinkevich, head of sales at UK-based content creation, funding and distribution company BossaNova Media.

Seized at Sea follows Stampede’s Borderforce USA (aka Contraband: Seized at the Border), which rolled out in May 2023 on Discovery Channel.

The new 12-part series again centres on the work of the United States Customs and Border Protection as it battles to stop smugglers and traffickers from breaching US borders.

Airport Security: USA also focuses on the work of border-security agents, but this time on land rather than at sea.
